Born in Albuquerque, I grew up watching my parents and grandparents work in construction and real estate. My husband, Allen, and I became Colorado residents in 1988. After raising our two children, I joined my husband to run the golf programs at Colorado AvidGolfer, a regional lifestyle magazine.
I then entered the nonprofit sector, enjoying a successful career with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and March of Dimes. My highly effective track record for fundraising, corporate and board development, volunteer supervision and relationship management led me to DaVita, Inc., where I headed up the Fortune 200 Company’s social responsibility program. With a unique community and nonprofit business perspective, I became the company’s Community Enrichment Manager, developing strategies and processes to create partnerships supporting nonprofits and community efforts in the Denver Metro region.
Throughout my corporate life, my love of community and neighborhoods has fueled my lifelong passion for real estate—a passion that has propelled me to launch the career of my dreams.
