The Denver Real Estate Market has returned to rapid appreciation and bidding wars all driven by an extreme shortage of homes for sale particularly for homes priced under $400,000.
The average sold price of a home in the Denver real estate market is $453,258 which is up 12.53% for the year so the strong appreciation continues. It was recently reported that the average sale price in the City of Denver has surpassed $500,000 for the first time. The number of homes sold was 2,927, down 2.82% from the prior month and down 9.24% from February 2017. Low inventory of homes for sale continues to dominate market conditions.
